police are still searching for a pair of car thieves who allegedly tried to run down a u.s. park officer. it happened this weekend on lincoln boulevard in the presidio. investigators say u.s. park officer spotted one of the men breaking into a parked car. the man jumped into a car that was waiting nearby and his accomplice allegedly tried to run down the officer. he missed and the park officer opened fire. the men were last seen in a light tan buick sedan. >>> happening right now, a boycott of a local supermarket chain. a community group right now encouraging shoppers to stay away from pueblo. workers and community groups are very upset over mi pueblo's decision to join the federal e-verify system which a system that checks the immigration status of all new hires. federal immigration agents are auditing that supermarket chain after receiving complaints about suspected undocumented immigrants working at the stores. mi pueblo has stores from vallejo to salinas and also in the central valley. >>> today cleanup is under way after protesters smashed windows and threw paint at oakland city hal

francisco police are still searching for a pair of car thieves who allegely tried to run down a u.s. park officer. this happened this weekend on lincoln boulevard in the presidio. investigators say a u.s. park officer spotted one of the men breaking into a parked car. the man jumped into a car that was waiting nearby and his accomplice allegedly tried to run down the officer. he missed and the park officer opened fire. the men were last seen in a light tan buick sedan. >>> a north bay narcotics investigator is now suspected of actually doing drugs himself. 35-year-old j.j. onjade worked for the major crimes task kroers while working for the novato police department. the allegations could impact a murder case that he investigated. in fact the allegations have delayed sentencing for the four men convicted of killing a liquor store owner back in 2008. lawyers for these men could use these new allegations against onjade to request a new trial. >>> happening now, a major commute route in the east bay is still tied up after a deadly crash. lafayette police are still investigating what happened
